Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Looking for a kind person who can look after my lovely cat for about 6 months

hi all

I'm looking for someone that might be so kind as to look after my cat for me for about 6 months. I've recently separated from my partner and am lodging with someone temporarily until I buy a place, and it's not possible to have pets there, unfortunately.

He's a lovely 7 year old neutered male called Darwin. Great temperament, loves cuddles. I'll pay for all food and vet type stuff. I'm not sure how he'd get on with other cats, because I have never tried.

I've attached a couple of pics.

If you think you can help or know anyone that might, please let me know.

thanks, Jo

Awww he looks lovely. Sorry, we would love to be able to help you out, but we have 2 cats here already in our small flat and afters talking it over with my partner, we would be too worried about the effect on our existing cats.

But I will ask around for you...

I would love to take him but I am away for 2 or three days at a time every few weeks.  I can't really think of a way around that.  Good luck - he looks so gorgeous I'm sure he'll find a stop over home soon.

I'd be happy to offer a temporary home to your cat here at my flat in Stroud Green. It's got access to the outdoors, there are not very many other cats around and it's a fairly quiet road.  I've sent you a connection request message, so do get in touch  and we can see if you think this suits his needs! Joanna.

Hi Jo, is he a housecat or would he need to go outside? if he is a housecat we might be able to help, we don't have any other cats so that wouldn't be a problem, and we have plenty of room for him to wander about and play but definitely no way of going outside (1st floor flat). I have never had a cat before (but my boyfriend has had several) but we have been thinking of adopting from Celia Hammond and had a visit from them to give us the ok to go ahead and get one but haven't done so yet. So in the meantime we might be able to look after Darwin for you. There are just two of us and no kid's so he would get lots of attention, and James works from home some days each week. let me know what you think, thanks Charlotte

thank you ever so much to everyone who has kindly offered help in rehoming my Darwin.

I have found a lovely family on the Ladder who are going to look after him for me.

thanks again, you are all the best

Jo xxxx
