Looking for a drum teacher for kids
Our drum teacher has let us down!! My son is 8 and has been playing for 3 years. I am looking for a new teacher for private lessons (pref. Tuesday evenings), to start asap, someone with experience with kids reference and local. Thank you.

I am not a drum teacher. I not even an accomplished drummer, the only experience I have with kids is teaching sport and drama to younger children when I was in sixth form. I could get you a reference from Forest Recycling Program where I worked with and supervised vulnerable adults. Basically I'm really not the man for the job. However if you are really stuck I could definitely help out in the mean time. I would essentially be emulating what my drum teacher taught me plus what I wish he had. I'm a local drum set teacher in the Wood Green area and just wondered how your search for a good tutor was in 2013. If by chance you would like to enquire about continuing lessons for your 18 year old in 2023, I'm available and have my own local studio with everything we need. I also have a DBS from Octobeer 2022.
