Looking for a builder to rebuild garden walls, steps and repointing
Hi
Can anyone recommend a builder who had recently done some good work on this kind of job? Our front garden walls and steps badly need rebuilding and we need some thorough repointing work on damaged brickwork at the back. This is currently letting in damp, so need urgently needs sorting before the winter. Any recommendations gratefully received. Thanks!

Try David O'Doherty (07830119421). This time last year he built me a brick raised bed the width of the garden and removed an external toilet which was tied to the house - this entailed using old stock bricks to make good, great job. David started out as a time served brick layer and in now a master builder. Excellent workmanship, honest and reasonable. Worth giving him a ring to see what his availability is, I believe he's currently building an extension in Rutland Gardens (N4) so should be in the area.

Thanks so much for the recommendation - as it happens, I saw David recommended elsewhere on the site and called him today and left a message. So obviously very well-regarded! Good to know that you have a good experience with him.
