London Recut - easy to compete film competition using archive footage

London Recut is a new film initiative and competition open to everyone. You can explore moving image archive material from the BFI, the London Transport Museum, the Imperial War Museum, London Metropolitan Archives and maybe even from your local borough.

You can then edit the material together – and even add material from your computer’s webcam and microphone – using E-Seq, a user-friendly online editing tool, to produce your own short film responding to life in London today.

"The workshop will give up to 20 participants from across the borough the chance to explore the wealth of material on offer, with guidance and support from the London Recut team. Over a three-hour session, you will learn how to use the online edit system, and how to construct a simple documentary narrative"
