The Green Rooms hall in Station Road N22 was packed out last night (8 April) as 65 people attended the Enfield & Haringey constituency climate hustings. Conservative Calum McGillivray, Green Dr Katie Knight, Labour Joanne McCartney and LibDem Guy Russo fielded questions about what their parties would do if elected. All four agreed to the Friends of the Earth pledge, to hold the new mayor to account on working to zero carbon by 20230 and achieving WHO air quality standards. The meeting was organised by Friends of the Earth with Enfield Climate Action Forum, Sustainable Haringey and Haringey Climate Forum.
