Hi, I've recently moved onto the ladder and looking to upgrade the kitchen and get a loft conversion as soon as possible. Does anybody have any recommendations for contractors who have recently done work on the ladder? Would really appreciate any personal suggestions people have! Thanks!!

I am also on the ladder and had my kitchen completely upgraded with UFH, sliding doors to the garden etc. a few years ago. They've done an amazing job and I could be more happy with the results. They've also converted my unused, damp basement into a laundry room and lots of storage, absolutely perfect! I use the builder all the time for smaller and bigger jobs. For example, they are just finishing the exterior and front garden job for me and we are thinking about the loft done. The quality of work is very good, the prices reasonable and the communication is also very good. I couldn't recommend Greg and his guys more. Greg Zuber (07887481750). PM me if you want more details.

Hi Anna
Hope you don't mind me asking, but was the basement a big job, or is is t a coal cellar? Reason I ask is that it's been really difficult getting builders to quote to convert our coal cellar into useful storage. Yours sounds exactly what we need - did you have to get the walls tanked/ pump installed or was it less complicated?
Thanks, glen
It is a coal cellar but what I forgot to mention is that I am quite small (160cm) so it's just enough headroom for me but my husband is much taller so he needs to mind his head. Also, what I should mention is that this is not a 100% conversion but we have reclaimed about 70% of the space. We've had a few extra air vents put in, the walls were treated with special anti damp coating prior to painting (sorry, I don't remember the details). There was an option to dig deeper but this wasn't my priority.
Thanks fairly straightforward
