Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hornsey Library will be hosting events with two very different authors this month - multi-award winning Crouch End resident Andrea Levy, and bestselling US author Rachel Caine.

Born in London to Jamaican parents, Levy's work examines aspects of British-Caribbean identity. Her fourth novel, "Small Island", won the Orange Prize for Fiction and the Whitbread Novel award, and was dramatised in two parts on BBC1 last year. She will be reading from and discussing her new novel, "The Long Song", this Thursday from 7pm.

Dallas-based author Rachel Caine has written over 30 novels, including the bestelling "Morganville Vampires" series for young adults. Caine will be talking about her work and signing copies of her latest books, which will be available for purchase at the library. Meet Rachel Caine from 5 to 6pm on Friday 18 June.

For further information about either of these events, call Bernadette Brewster on 020 489 5043.
