Local pianist and composer Nigel Goulding releases his new solo album Unfinished Spring.

What Nigel’s sais about this project:

"These solo piano pieces are inspired by Eric Satie, Ludovico Enaudi, Thomas De Hartmann & Gurdjieff and Arvo Part.This project is Unfinished in so far as it is an adventure that has just begun and will be ongoing and Spring representing a time of new growth. The compositions performed on the album were developed from a series of improvisations conceived in the summer of 2012.

The pieces have been kept simple and short with plenty of spaces and gaps to allow time for contemplation. Each piece has been created to evoke both calm and passion to promote an underlying stillness in the listener".

The CD was launched on March 2013 at Lauderdale House in Highgate with great success and is receiving great feedback from the audience.
