Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello!

I've just finished a course at Turning Earth in Tottenham, but they are looking to close down shortly. I quite enjoy handbuilding and want to do so at home - does anyone else do this and have recommendations for other memberships locally or easy kiln hire for just taking things for firing?

Or any advice in general!

Thank you :)

Hello, Elladee,

There is a studio based in Wood Green where you can rent a working space, which includes work bench, storage space underneath and three shelves to store your work. There are thre large kilns and one tester kiln, which you can book for a few and there are wheels, which are available to members. It is located near the old Chocolate Factory (in an old biscuit factory building).

I hope this is helpful!

That’s extremely useful thank you! I’ll pop a message to see if I can visit and check it out!

You’re welcome, Elladee!

Youwill need to become a member, which I would highly recommend. It is a perfect way to develop your pottery skills in a stimulating environment. There are lots of talented potters there.

Good luck with it!
Fiona
