Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi Everyone,

It's great to see additional people have joined the Local Business Network. So that this group can be effectively run we need to know more about you and what you want to get out of the group.

I have created two surveys. The surveys have a maximum of 10 questions and will take less than 10 minutes to fill in.

The first is for ALL members of the Local Business Network (and for those who are planning to join the group) and it's findings will help us know who we are as a group and pave the way to organising networking and business focussed events that you can genuinely benefit from.

The second survey is for those more interested in a social meet up - mainly the freelancers that have been discussing friday lunch meets. This survey aims to find out where, when and what time you wish to meet.

I would also like to encourage all members to add a photo to their profile so that we can see who you are (it really does make networking easier!). And to also fill in the temporary:

Business Directory

To easily list your business name / website  etc.

This will allow the group to be run more effectively and therefore help your business thrive!

Thanks for participation everyone. Please encourage other members to do so to. The success of the group does depend on its members, so please take part to get the maximum benefit from knowing 79+ businesses in the area!

Any questions please feel free to message me.

Kind regards

Karen Fugle

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a relaxing Easter!

Please like and reply to this thread to keep it active for a while. We need as many  business members to see it as possible so that the surveys can get the most replies.

Thanks!

My wife wants to start-up a retail business either in Harringay or just over the border in Hackney, but is struggling to secure funding from the usual sources - banks, start-up loans...etc. Going to be looking at a crowdfunding route. She would appreciate tips from yourself and the business community?

This network might prove useful even if a business isn't yet established.

Hi Robert, definitely, start-ups are welcome.
If your wife joins the group she can post specific questions to that group on crowd funding. Else she can feel free to PM me and I can see how I can help.
