Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all

I'm writing a piece on the rise of using a commercial property as a residential space. It's particularly relevant to north and east london where warehouse space is abundant and technically speaking is 'illegal' but is a very well known practice. I am particularly interested in interviewing people who may have lived in this kind of arrangement. Where your tenancy rights protected? What were the factors is choosing this kind of arrangement?

Happy to talk to people anonymously, and of course if anyone has any tips on where this might be happening let me know, I can investigate on foot!

Head down Markfield Road N15, or Fountayne Rd round the corner from it. A number of commerical use properties/warehouses seem to be used as residential now. If you google them some will come up, see property listing below...

Check out Catwalk Place, off Overbury Road, N15 (just off Seven Sisters Rd). I believe some HoL members are residents - they had a party in the summer which is also documented here and it's a really interesting space.
