Like what? I'm fed up with explaining the LBW law to English people. Their grasp of proper English grammar is poor compared to the Europeans I work with in London too. I bet the bar for passing this test is a lot higher than the incumbent population are capable of.

I agree. I have a Russian friend who passed her Citizenship recently. I couldn't have answered questions such as how many MPs are there ? Maybe " too many " would be acceptable :-)

Even Prince Phillip knows how many MPs there are. How hilarious that the Parliament who designed this test makes it all about them when it's far more useful to know about each other. For instance we should be teaching the European people who come here about the commonwealth and the people who come from it, not our waste of space MPs.

Thanks! I actually took the test last week and passed. It wasn't difficult, but. Some answers you would only know by studying the book and others could be more common knowledge. Although I seemed to be the first person in the room to finish the test and nobody else came out for quite some time. I guess some people struggle because of the language too.
