I have used Rentify; if you have the time and inclination to manage and show the place yourself. They charge very little....I got very good tenants thru them

Yes Paul Simon very bad. I know three people who have rented one particular flat through them and have each had their own horror story. Mainly around damp but one case where there WA WA gas leak and they didn't. Even bother to get it fixed for the tenant.

try openrent.com  its a brilliant service, have nothing but good things to say about them.

Thanks for your replies. I didn't know about openrent, so will have a look at that.  Has anyone used Brian Thomas? They have some awful reviews online, but seemed helpful when I spoke to them.

Brian Thomas seemed really helpful when we were looking at the end of last year but let us down and misled us a bunch of times. Their referencing fees are also really steep - £150 per person! We eventually found somewhere via OpenRent and the whole process was really good and straightforward, with fees of only £20 per person.
