Leader of Lib Dems in Haringey Robert Gorrie to step down

Haringey Liberal Democrat leader Robert Gorrie will step down next month to allow a fresh face time to prepare for local elections, he has announced.

The Hornsey councillor will step down as leader when his term finishes on May 11, after saying that he wanted to spend more time focussing on the issues affecting his ward.
