LBH Development Management Document

Mr Mario Petrou of St Anns Road, has asked me to post his letter that was published in today's Ham & High newspaper (attached). It draws attention to a Haringey Council consultation that ends soon.

Mario raises concerns about some assumptions in this document on which public comment is apparently invited, by the council, until 6 August.

He ends by saying that "As a rule of thumb, consultations coinciding with holiday periods are real stinkers".

(from my own experience, I would agree. The less the council actually wants public comment, the more likely consultations are slipped through during periods of public distraction. Over the attempted sale of Alexandra Palace, the "consultation" was scheduled over Xmas and New Year of 2006/07. This is a cynical council.)

I end by saying that, if you know Mario, please encourage him to manage a hyper-local development of computing facilities (domestic).
