A rainbow flag does not a gay bar make.  This place is to be avoided at all costs.  The few people that are 'gay' arent.

I think the only reason there is not a 'designated' gay bar in the area is not because of fear. Its the same in Crouch End many business people consider it unnecessary as so many places are very gay friendly.  Tees (formely Catch22) existed without too much trouble (the occassional homophobic rant) very tatty and badly run but some where to meet.  Maybe some enterprising person will invest.

On looking back at gay venues in the hood, did you know that Harringay was the birthplace of the gay one nighter and home to famous Eighties club and George Michael hangout Bolts?

T's bar is a real dive with all sorts of n'ere do wells - best avoided.  It has gone to pot since it changed from Catch 22
