For those with a genuine need (work, school etc), it might be worth picking up a couple of boxes of LFTs from a local testing or vaccination centre.
The usual media suspects are doing their best to create a shortage this morning as the NHS home-delivery site is currently showing a lack of availability.
Just a heads up.

Aren't you just helping to create the shortage by posting this? Everyone has a genuine need for the test kits. This just makes people rush out and get more thereby creating the shortage.
Please consider removing this post.
Not everyone has a genuine need for them. Some need them to visit elderly relatives, others might 'need' them because they're unvaccinated but want to go to the football, others will be hoarding in hope of turning a quick buck. Only one of those needs is genuine.
Beyond that, neither the number nor the nature of the people who will view this post are the problem.
The story was leading Sky and BBC news.
Its subjective. Everyone believes they have a genuine need. For example, the lonely old man whose only social interaction is his weekly trip to the football to see his friends would consider that crucial for his mental health. The mum wanting to see her daughter walk down the isle or see her grandchild Christened would consider she has a genuine need. Etc etc
The poor old soul has the option to get vaccinated. The woman does not need an LFT to enter a church.. even if in Land's End.
You're being obtuse. That's subjective.
You might not have noticed Will but you can still catch Covid after vaccinations and should take a LTF test if you have symptoms so you know whether to isolate.
Did y'all pick up Will's subtle spelling correction? Especially Brian.
Seemingly no shortage of turkeys yet, Ozbawn.
