Lampshade making class

Afternoon all I am just putting out the feelers to see how many people would be interested in doing a lampshade making class?

The class would be groups of 5/6 people and around an hour long. I would supply the bits and a selection of fabric (though you could also bring your own) and you would leave having learnt how to make your own shade and a 30cm drum shade that you've made. Plus a print out of instructions and handy links to keep on making.

I'm an experienced lampshade maker and have been making and selling them over the years, you can see some examples here: http://twinmade.co.uk/

It would be in the Crouch End/Green Lanes area and cost around £30 per person.

Hi, I've not had much interest yet, looking at flyering local venues to see if that can spark some more interest. If you could ask around that would be great as I'll need to have the interest before I can schedule it and order all the supplies in. Kathryn

All other crafts people too - it would be brilliant if there were workshops like this locally all the time. I encourage all such talented artists to get together to form a local craft workshop collective. I'm rubbish at making stuff, it would be ace to be able to learn locally. I reckon you'd have loads of interest.
