Just had the Labour support worker popping around to my house to ask who I voted for. Bit cheeky. Never seen anyone doing this before. Outside the Polling Station is one thing but door knocking seems a little over the top. Surely Tottenham isn't a marginal (?)

A footnote to this discussion. On 7 June Socitm (Society of Information Management) published the results of a survey of its local council members about the use of their websites during the General and Local elections.
It should help councils improve the information they provide residents during future elections. Hopefully including those councils which didn't even give the date!
The survey was complimentary about Manchester's webpage explaining the practicalities - How Do You Vote .
Which included an issue which came up on HoL: the information that party "tellers" are allowed to stand outside polling stations and ask for your polling number. But, Manchester explains, those tellers we are not allowed to ask how people voted.
