Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Does anyone know of any knitting classes for total beginners in the area?

Thank you

I don't know of a class but there are a few groups...I used to go to this one and they are a lovely bunch, I just got busy!

Hi Samantha, I can teach you to knit for free if you want?

I used to work at Knit With Attitude and also used to run a group.

I'd also be up for starting a group locally if you are interested. Or we can meet in a cafe/pub... Wherever!
I'd be up for this too, there's a few groups but all are during office hours which I cant do :-(
Me neither on weekdays, but I'd be up for a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon once or twice a month.

Actually just checked the Knit With Attitude site, there's a group *with wine* on the third Thursday of the month at 6.30pm. I will try to go to that one on the 18th if anyone wants to join me?

There's a group at St Anns library, 3-5 every Saturday.

There's a group in the Salisbury, first Tues of the month, (so next Tues 7th), from 7.30 onwards. Lots of experienced knitters, happy to teach beginners. You'll need some yarn and needles, but everyone's welcome.

Check out Nest in Crouch End - they do classes for beginners and it's a lovely, friendly shop. http://nestknitting.com/ I used to work there so I am a bit biased, but they are lovely :)
