At least some residents will be relieved that Haringey's Entertainment Queen has today lost her throne and been ushered out of her Palace by a peasants' revolt.
However, there will be questions for the incoming Green Administration to ask about the relationship between (a) the old New Labour crew and (b) the convicted monopolist of global live music, Live Nation.
In our public park, Finsbury Park.
And not least, questions about the lawfulness of Cabinet actions to bind the incoming Administration—and whoever forms the council in 2030—to a another, five-year exploitation contract: 18 months before the current one expired.
It stinks.
In any event, the Cabinet Member's Signing, slipped in shortly before purdah, demonstrated contempt for democracy.
Needed: fewer Clowns, more Bread and fewer Circuses.
