The Prince of Darkness is in the driving seat now. Gordon's god has been silenced and 'the babes' have been sent to the chamber. Britains not just an island off Europe, it's a whole nation adrift.
The shires have turned 100% blue, Labour heartlands have been wiped of the midlands map. The Lib Dems have even lost territory. We now have to get used to the fact Cameron will be the next prime minister. Lets hope he ain't all that bad.

While I wouldn't actually vote for the Cameron kid, I wouldn't necessarily leave the country if he gets in. In other words, I'd let someone else do the dirty work for me - then I'd have someone to vote out with a clear conscience five years hence. The prospect would keep me going into my seventies.

So now, with de-selection in prospect, the sometime Babes are beginning to apologise - to themselves - for their stupidity. If you rock the boat, Hazel, you'd better be immune to seasickness. Stand by for some daring excuses from the ex-Housing Minister who flashed her briefs, ex-Europe Minister who never heard of Lisbon, ex-window dresser who made a bit of a show of herself.
