I'm about to change jobs and I thought I'd mention this here in case anyone is interested in applying for my current/old job?
After I left a career in the city to have my 2 children my first job back was as Music Administrator at St Paul's Cathedral School.
Now I am moving on after 10 years, they've advertised my role to start asap - but ideally February.
I want to recommend it- It's a lovely place to work, and very convenient for Harringay as it's 20 min by train to Moorgate (+ 10 min walk) or tube stop literally a moment from the school gate, or 35 min cycle (my speed!) with secure cycle parking, staff shower etc.
Mainly though it's a lovely place to work and was both flexible (I work 1 day at home a week) and term time based (some work needed in holidays but by my own arrangement and could be done remotely).
I suggest it could suit someone with a business/admin background and an interest in the arts looking for a job which is Full time/busy and demanding in term time but with the potential for you to always be around during your children's school holidays (which is why I worked there) Have a look on the school website or on TES jobs if you're interested.
And, no - they're not paying me to promote it! I just happen to know these types of jobs do not come up often so thought i'd mention it!
I suggest you will need strong organisation/tech skills and a positive personality. Interest or knowledge of classical music is a bonus.
Feel free to ask me any questions if you're interested.
