JOB POST - MARKET SITE CO-ORDINATOR

Job purpose: to coordinate Tottenham Green Market on the day (Saturdays) Start Date: Saturday 18^th July 2015.  Hours of work: 8am – 5pm

JOB DESCRIPTION

To supervise and help traders setting up and taking down stalls. Must assist with electrical, power and start-up.

Co-ordinate where traders park vehicles, toilet and washing facilities are situated.

All stalls strictly set up by 10am Market; take down 4pm.

Must hold current First Aid Training certificate (Or be willing to take course). Ensure that hot food traders have extinguishers or fire blankets.

Quality control of stalls and site, make sure layout is clear and clean.

Be aware of potential safety hazards.

Maintain an information desk, mailing list, count footfall, postcodes, chat to potential stallholders, and log their contact details for Market Manager. Coordinate and encourage volunteerism from community to help you.

Preferably Local – (Who already is connected to the community, who will have a sense of where to go for support and resources, many of the vendors may come from outside of area)

REMUNERATION

The Market Co Coordinator will receive £100.00 per market which will cover duties at the market and all other work in between which is connected with the market.
