Great day, gorgeous weather, TESU / WWESU / scouts stalls selling food and drink (to raise funds) and excellent bands, ranging from torch singers, straight up jazz and punk tracks covered in a big band style. all in a great setting at the "shell" stage, next to the skate bowl. I understand this is finally back in use for the community, so hopefully this is the first of many gigs as its a brilliant space for a concert. thanks to the organisers, a fantastic day, even if they didn't manage to get a drinks license

I would echo every word of this. A great great day and hopefully one of many. This and river fest the other week have really showed the area in a great light.
