Jackson's Lane Theatre are producing a community project based on the exciting, funny and moving memories and stories of older Haringey residents and they're calling for locals to get involved.

The play, 'A Borough United' will be staged on Sunday, 7th April at Jacksons Lane, will be performed and designed by volunteers of all ages and abilities.

The stories on which the production will be based will come both from older residents in Haringey as well as from material held at Bruce Castle Museum.

The team have a writer on board who has already been meeting some of these older residents, but the main inspiration to write the script will come from the participants themselves, from their input into the process. And that could mean you!

The process is designed to be fun and inclusive, with a great variety of people from all ages, all united in creating this theatrical event. Jackson's would like to hear as many different voices as possible and welcome locals to be part of it, whatever their skills and interests.

The first meeting on Tuesday, 29th January at 6pm at Jacksons Lane.

Rehearsals will be held every Wednesday thereafter.
