Izzy Bizu born Isobel Beardshaw is a British singer-songwriter, of Ethiopian descent.
Izzy recorded with the BBC Concert Orchestra an uptempo, updated version of the Edith Piaf 1957 hit 'La Foule' as the theme music for the BBC's coverage of the Euro 2016 Football Tournament.

Image posted is from the Roof top Sessions, you can see what I think is Chettle Court, Ridge Road, Stroud Green, & the Woodberry Estate Tower in the back ground.

Their 'Rooftop Sessions' were above the Pizza takeaway shop, opp the Hope & Anchor pub on Tottenham Lane but, that was 2 years ago. What you have to do as a musician to get promoted with minimal outlay ... but it has worked :) The sound quality is excellent. Izzy has a great voice.

The roof top sessions have a Jam in a Jar feel, & Plein air cafe feel that Tuesdays used to be like, less rowdy and more intimate, bring on a diversity in artists approach, and bring back the repertoire we have enjoyed locally.
