It's How You Think That Matters

In a very interesting article by Nicholas D Kristof for the New York Times the accuracy of 'expert opinions' is discussed. Kristof quotes one study showing that of 82,000 predictions by 284 experts that, on average, the predictions of the experts were only a tiny bit better than random guesses.
