There's the famous typewriter scene in the film Naked Lunch.

And apparently, Madonna has famously quoted, "I am a survivor. I am like a cockroach, you just can't get rid of me."

These are the most common around here I think - the orientals. They're quite big. The Germans are smaller more square. Really wish i didn't know this, but I do. Yuck.
