Meanwhile on January 10th 1985, at a snowy Alexandra Palace, Sir Clive Sinclair was launching his sort lived C5 car. I wonder if anyone local bought one? According to "Wiki" they predicted that they had 2700 units sold after exhibition, but this only translated into 200 sales.

If they had marketed it as a powered recumbent bike instead of a "car" it would have sold more.
