Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi
We have noticed in our upstairs bedroom at the front of the house we have some damp patches appearing. It looks like the guttering or rather the downpipe is leaking as its about the same height and so seems to be the culprit.

I would assume we need the guttering/down pipe repaird as opposed to a damp expert. Can anyone recommend someone to repair down pipes? We could maybe do this ourselves but don't have ladders this kind of size??
Thanks

We had the same problem in the room at the back - it was about half-way down the outside-facing wall. We thought it was the pointing on the bricks but it turns out it was a broken slate on the roof and the water was running down first before entering further down the wall. Have you had the roof checked out?
Roof looks ok....and where the downpipe joins the bottom downpipe you can see moss/damp on the neighbours wall too so it seems to be that that 'join' is blocked/broken.....
