A Peek Inside Tootoomoo Crouch End
I was up at Tootoomoo having a bite to eat and chatting with owner Philip McGuinness the other day about his 20% off advert on HoL (eyes right) and commented that I liked the decor inside Tootoomoo.
Given my predilection for photographing everything at the moment, I asked if I could take some pictures to post on HoL. What follows was the result. It's unusual inside. I like it. (One day I'll figure out how to get the camera to stay level!!)
I didn't have time to set up for food pictures, but here's what I ate (not my pictures) - and very yummy it was too.

If you've been reading HoL for a while, you'll know that I have a soft spot for Asian food. All these dishes hit the spot for me. Great lunchtime browsing food. I often order soft shell crab hand rolls in a sushi bar, so I was fascinated to try the mix of the little critters with the Jalapeno dip. It worked a treat.
The meat just fell off the salty spicy ribs (and gave me the excuse I needed to grab a cold lunchtime beer!). And the duck salad? Apparently it's one of Tootoomoo's best sellers. I get why - very moreish.
(Disclaimer: Yes, Tootoomoo are advertising with HoL right now, but my praise for what I ate and for the decor is unsponsored!)

does the 20% apply to wine. we like the food there but the wine is ridiculously overpriced. Top prices for vin ordinaire, they dont even bother with dates. and when we queried it they just laughed. Probably not going back.

great ask for Philip, would luv to say hello. Our customers wanted a bigger range of alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails so we have a new menu, if you haven't seen it already, we also deliver them, which has gone down well, a bit of fun really.
