Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I'm running for Mind in Haringey on Sunday 6 Oct!

A large group of about 30 runners are tackling the Royal Parks Half Marathon this Sunday 6 Oct to raise funds for Mind in Haringey.

Mind in Haringey are a great local charity based in Stapleton Hall Road, who provide much needed help, support and counselling for local people suffering from mental ill health.

I'm in team of four Harringay locals (two of us on the Ladder and two just over Harringay bridge!) who are running for the charity. We've all been working really hard at fundraising, including bake sales and silly sports days in Finsbury Park - overall, the hope is to raise at least £10,000 for Mind in Haringey.

I know that there are many demands on our money and lots of very worthy and deserving causes out there needing support - but if anyone would like to sponsor us and help raise money for Mind in Haringey, it would be very much appreciated!

This is brilliant Eilidh. I wish you all the best and will definitely donate for your efforts. I recently lost a close friend who suffered from paranoid schizophrenia so anything that can be done to help others is fantastic.
