Hello. I just stepped off the 41 bus at the Stanley Road stop on West Green. I was vaguely aware of a youngish girl walking quite fast down the street but was a lot more aware of the fact she had a massive rottweiller on a chain. I made no eye contact with her, I didn't even see her face but as she passed me by she spat in my face. I have absolutely no idea who she was, i was just stalled for about 5 secs coming to terms with what had just happened before i turned and she was just marching down the street at a pace. She didn't say anything. Other people saw her do it. I am not angry just a bit shocked because evidently she has mental health issues. I'm wondering did anyone else encounter her this evening or was it just me who she decided to offload on for whatever reason. Really disgusting.

Thanks I appreciate the solidarity. i really feel strongly that it wasn't personal and that she was just a very disturbed individual. I don't think I will report it, I just reached out on the forum to see if it had happened to anyone else or if she is known for doing this kind of thing. I'm just chalking it up as a bad experience. No matter how tough life is, hers has got to be a whole lot tougher and a great deal more disturbed. Thanks again.
A similar thing happened to me a few days ago. Whilst I was driving in the local area a large black Range Rover shot past me and spat at my window. Perhaps because I was driving to slow even though I was doing the 30mph speed limit? It was very strange and really confused me.
I had to clean the spit of my window... not very nice. I know its not to the same extent of what happened to you however I thought I would mention it as you brought up the topic.
That's horrible, sorry to hear that. People are so ignorant. I really feel strongly that it wasn't personal in my case and that she was just a very disturbed individual. No offence was intended with the mental health comment. Personally I'm grateful for the dog because it stopped me from even thinking for one second about pursuing her or challenging her. i really feel strongly that it wasn't personal and that she was just a very disturbed individual. What a horrible thing to happen to you. Might be difficult to report if you don't now who she is, although authorities may already be aware of her. If she has mental health issues charging her with assault probably not the best answer. But what about the massive Rottweiler. That would really concern me - someone hiding behind their potentially dangerous dog.
