How to prevent Google etc sending traffic down your road....
If you don't want Google etc to send traffic down your road it needs to either:
(i) be filtered to prevent cars etc
or
(ii) be slow vs other routes
Here's a new idea on how to achieve (ii) - though it may be a bit hard to keep it going every day...

Saw the post, interesting concept
Not forgetting that car Traffic Reports need to be connected to a phone
Not everyone wants to have their phone on Bluetooth which can be accessed by other users Especially on todays traffic, which spends long periods stopping & starting congested traffic
Remember years ago when Bluetooth first came out the fun we used to have stuck in Traffic picking up other phone users
