How many to make a summer?
If you're out and about in Harringay do cast your eyes skywards. For a week or two now Mr Growbag has spotted swallows doing their acrobatics over the ladder roads. They're a true delight to watch, and while the proverb says that one does not make a summer, I have now seen at least 5 and it is 30 degrees. Just saying...

Yes, you could well be right - I wasn't sure but I definitely spotted a properly forked tail, and the description of careering aerial acrobatics seems pretty accurate. Still, beats pigeons.
