see my post below, there is a monitor in Harringay at the Airgradient website. But I agree campaigners should be referencing publicly available readings and making it clear where the readings are being taken.
Which air quality sensor is this, is it publicly viewable on Airgradient or Airvisual or any of the air quality apps? Is it this one on Airgradient, which matches your readings in terms of very high PM2.5 on Saturday?

The more people are aware of local air quality sensors with public readings, the better.
Just refreshing the background on the air quality monitor - due to the importance of this issue we invested in our own equipment. This also tracks the same trends as the Breathe London sensor. All of the background to the monitor etc has been shared with the previous councillors and officers.

MANY in Haringey will look to the Council's new Green Group to take meaningful action to reduce the dirtiest air in the Borough.
The Highways Department needs root and branch overhaul, while Public Health needs promotion.
Despite yesterday's Council AGM, their website is currently still showing the old Cabinet crew.
However, the new Cabinet responsibilities are listed here. The line-up is quite as fresh as many had hoped for.
.
Clive, on what basis do you confidently announce one location as having the dirtiest air in the Borough? Has there been a borough-wide measurement? is there a list of , for example, the top five dirtiest locations around the borough?
Alan, I did not specify one location as having the dirtiest air in the Borough, confidently or otherwise. I do assert, without fear of contradiction, that air quality levels in Haringey will vary.
This in turn, suggests that the air in some areas is dirtier, more polluted and more hazardous to health than in others. Main roads will be more polluted than quiet roads by parks. Poorer folk tend to be able to rent or buy mainly along the corridors of the greatest burning of fossil fuel.
It seems possible that restaurants along Green Lanes make GL one of the air-dirtier districts in the Borough. This hypothesis is lent weight by historical data suggesting that high levels of vehiclular pollution.
the top five dirtiest locations around the borough?
Historical and recent reports highlight specific concerns in these areas:
After Green Lanes in pollution intensity, there comes Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham High Road (both managed by TfL) and Muswell Hill Broadway.
The listing of the most polluted roads in Haringey is several years old now and needs updating. It may not have changed much.
This article ....
BARBARA, beyond your call for better research, your post hasn't added a great deal.
Yes the article is years old as I mentioned. The broad conclusions are unlikely to have changed much, as the most heavily trafficked roads then are likely to be the most heavily trafficked roads now.
However, I also wrote that it needs updating.
In the article, the then-cabinet member for the environment, said the authority is committed to greener transport schemes.
In the 13 years since the Mayor of London's data achieved publicity, Haringey Council has "committed" to any number of things that fail to pass. Their only observable commitment, is their genuine commitment to issuing commitments.
Please provide up to date authoritative scientific reporting.
This is a technical field and I can not and will not provide you with up to date authoritative scientific reporting. The council has the resources to do this and maybe now they will. Perhaps the council's largest Group (Green) will get cracking.
Sadly CLIVE you are always so negative ..it's depressing!
For people in politics you need to be POSITIVE!
People need to be Hopeful - Not Hopeless!
You have to give people hope.
Clive, You say the Green's "line-up is quite as fresh as many had hoped for".
Really? How many of them are former Labour Party members; in some cases Labour councillors; Party chairs; Labour branch secretaries; Priceless Antique Road show favourites and so on.
FRESHNESS
Er, in editing I missed out the intended word, "not". As in not quite as fresh. One or two of line-up are long past their sell-buy date. The best before date may never have applied.
So "home grown"? I thought it was put up as a proper conclusion of a respected scientific body. We need to do better otherwise it looks propagandist.
