Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
House sitter recommended
I have a house and garden, two cats, a dog and a goldfish and so need a fairly regular house sitter to keep everything alive and in order while I'm away for weekends or longer periods.
I highly recommend Barry Hogan. Not only does he keep everything alive and unburgled but he leaves the house in a WAY better state than it was when I left. Sheets and towels washed, plants and garden watered, cooker and fridge cleaned...and apparently is happy to do other stuff if needed and asked for.
Very reasonable rates, very reliable and trustworthy. Highly recommended!

I was upset to hear that a couple called Mirjam and Arend directly contacted my housesitter via this post, thinking they were contacting me, giving me their prices and references. I think this is extremely rude, bad enough to try to poach work in the comments as happens sometimes, but to do it behind the scenes via email is not on.
I think they received a rather sharp response.
So I've come back to 'bump' this post and again recommend Barry, who once again did a great job looking after my house and pets over Christmas.
