Hornsey band buzzing with release of new single

'Kicking K' from Hornsey-based electro-psych band Junkstar was released amidst the tumult of 7th August.
Junkstar formed after the 27-year-old South View Road based songwriter and frontman, J-C Connington launched an appeal for musicians on Gumtree.

The band have since released their first album and toured the USA and Holland performing alongside the likes of Kate Nash and indie sensations The Drums.

Junkstar's Twitter stream notes their delight at reaching 3rd place in Amazon's Hot New Releases in Rock listing.

Beyond Kicking K, Junkstar's Facebook page links to another new track laid down for their forthcmoing album abd asks for your vote for theri video in Tuborg's Liquid Soundtrack competition.
