Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
HOODIES ON THE ROOF !
i live in Lothair Road North, near the Beaconsfield.
Last night the man who lives opposite to me asked whether we were having repairs done to our roof, as he had seen someone wearing a dark hoodie (with the hood up) clambering over the rooftops of our terrace of houses just as it was getting dark.
I do not think any of our neighbours are having their roofs repaired, and can only suppose that the person had climbed up over the garages nearby and was attempting to gain access to the houses via the skylights.
we have swapped mobile numbers and will keep an eye on each others rooftops, but i thought it would be worth mentioning, so people in the area are warned and can lock their skylights when they go out!

Thank you for posting this information. I too live on the same terrace and had a visit today from a local community safety officer to let us know that this had been reported so shall be keeping our skylights firmly shut from now on. We will of course keep an eye out too. Great that we had a visit so soon to let us know about this.
