Muswell Hill Sustainability Group is organising an information day on how to make homes more energy efficient on 15 March 2014, at the Moravian Church in Priory Road N8 7HR. It will be a chance to talk to local builders, architects, carpenters about how to improve insulation and draught proofing in your home.
The following day there will be homes open to the public (but booked through Eventbrite) to see first hand what local householders have achieved. Are there any houses on the ladder I wonder that might take part? Do contact me via this discussion if you could take part. You can choose how many visitors you get and when they come.

Hi Pamela, we are interested.
We recently renovated the bottom part of our house (this was phase 1 -- it's what most needed doing) on the ladder with a view to energy efficiency and managed to get heating gas usage down from about 140kWh/day in winter down to about 70-80kWh/day :
