Are you posting as a concern that this is a valid visitor/assessment? In my experience HfH have always provided written notification ahead of any scheduled work/meetings.

I had a letter saying they had done an inspection but also calling me a tenant (I'm a leaseholder), saying I had a gate over my door (I don't) and that I had to remove it by Friday 25 November or face an injunction (letter received on 23 November). I did have a grille over my kitchen window. When they replaced my front door I asked if that needed to go, the contractor said no.
I called the officer who wrote the letter, was told she would be visiting the estate that morning (I said that was no good, I was at work), and I emailed the home ownership team who are the people I should have received communication from, but haven't had a reply or a call.
