Homes for Haringey weed spraying

Glyphosate-based herbicide (weed killer) is sprayed borough-wide in pedestrian areas. According to many internet sources (and in also the attached document), there are dangers associated with this and associated chemicals. The easily available herbicide named 'ROUNDUP' is probably the worst culprit for using Glyphosate. It's sold in many garden and DIY shops, including B&Q). Risks occur when the sprayed droplet vapour is either inhaled by people/animals or people/animals come into direct contact with the plants once sprayed. It's also hazardous to the environment, though you won't find any of this information stated on the containers.

The company that produces ROUNDUP, is MONSANTO, also known for genetically modifying food, etc.

We need to join together and demand the Haringey / Homes for Haringey chooses a natural, chemical free alternative and stop polluting our earth and us!
