Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi all,

I live next to an HMO. I have looked up their license on the council website and there are two issues:

1. Their license is expired, and not renewed (according to the website);

2. They have far more than the 5 occupiers in the house, which is what was granted under the license.

The latter is most annoying as there are essentially now two 5+ family groups living there that take turns having loud parties every sunny evening. Also, they don't manage their rubbish well, with only one refuse bin, leading to lots of foxes continually spreading rubbish all over their yard and ours.

I know that the Covid situation has made exceptional housing normal, but once that has subsided, how can I get this situation resolved with the council and landlord?

Advice appreciated.

Thanks

Justin seems to have given an answer to this here. It's a couple of years old, but a Google search suggests that the person is still in post.

You should also cc your councillor/s.

Hi Hugh,

Thanks for pointing me to that post.

Cheers
