Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
High speed motorcycle to and from cranford way industrial estate
See attached photos, I’m sure this guy is up to no good. He flies up and around the cranford way estate at ridiculous speeds down rathcoole gdns then up towards harringay station and back down to the industrial estate numerous times a day.
if you see him please try to get his number plate as so far not been able to read it as it’s non standard lettering.

Well he’s doing atleast 60mph on residential roads, has illegal plates, and is backwards and forwards onto the industrial estate day and night...
he’s definitely not a Deliveroo!

I'm regularly bothered at home by the noise of a motorbike roaring through central Crouch End at what can only be illegal speeds - I'll start making a mental note of the times (I'd kind of learned to block it out) but it has seemed to me to be all hours and sounds like the same bike each time. My impression is that it races down Tottenham Lane but I've never seen it. I don't think it uses the side roads like my street.

Come to think of it - this has been going on for a good couple of years at least. There must be some purpose to his activity and how come the police haven't put a stop to him? And how come nobody's brought it up on HOL before? Even I've considered asking the police in the past but felt silly as I'd never even seen him. If I ever see a bobby on the beat again in the street in Crouch End, I'll ask.

Judging by his rather lax approach to safety clothing and what appears to be flip flops on his feet, I'd be inclined to believe that he won't be doing this for much longer...
I too am hugely bothered by the disproportionate amount of noise generated by modified exhausts designed to make a 1990s Astra sound like a Lamborghini. Yucks.

They are pretty essential due to the number of diamonds of dopy (uber drivers) out there. Those muppets don;t seem to know what other road users are or what mirrors are for.

I think I saw him yesterday by chance, some time shortly before 6pm. I was crossing Tottenham Lane at the Ferme Park Rd roundabout in my usual kind of dream and a bike accelerated like a lunatic away into the centre of Crouch End. Of course by the time I'd registered the fact he was nearly out of sight - but it was that same sound and black figure. Then I think I heard him from my house today a few minutes earlier. So I'd guess his commute takes him into Crouch End between 5.30-6pm daily?

And heard again tonight just past 11.30pm, perhaps going back the other way? I'm far enough away from Tottenham Lane that I never hear anything apart from this guy.

Yes he’s up and down Tottenham lane quite frequently day and night. Been trying to get his number plate I think it’s starts K44...

If it helps, the bike is a KTM Super Duke. With a partial plate and a model it can be narrowed down by the police quite quickly.
