What is happening about the road resurfacing in Hermitage Road? It was announced to take place between 14 and 16 October, but on Friday 16 the work was nowhere near completed (the surface had been removed but resurfacing had not even begun). Since then nothing has happened and all the equipment has been removed. The notices still say 14-16 October.

An update on the speedbumps - the Highways Manager at the council has confirmed that the contractors have been instructed to re-instate humps anytime after 11 December. The new bumps will be 'sinusoidal humps' which are considered more cycle friendly - nice to hear this as a cyclist myself!

We really have been spoilt a new road , new fancy pants Led street lights and speed bumps completely spoilt !
