Hello,
The recent rain has been welcome by many! It can even be seen as a blessing Isaiah 44 vs3-4. As we move to the next level of loosening of restrictions there is optimism, but we know that many are not in a place to take advantage of the opportunities.
Recently, we have conducted an anonymised sample survey of our clients. It will help us hopefully to develop our information and signposting service, which we are likely to need help with. What we already know is that many of our clients have not been using local support services. We are committed to doing this in partnership with others including the Council, CAB, Bridge Renewal and other emergency food providers.
Meanwhile, food is still the basic need of our clients, giving some what they otherwise they would not have and for others a little leeway to spend money on other essentials.
At present we are in need of long life milk, cereals including porridge, biscuits, juice, tinned vegetables and fruit. We with access to the resources can help others to receive a blessing.
Many thanks for your help
