Help needed to walk elderly person's little dog Alexandra Park N22

An elderly person needs a volunteer to walk their cute little dog near Alexandra Park, Muswell Hill N22. Please consider helping if you live nearby, if you can walk the dog on one or two days a week.

The little dog is 12 years old and she is good with people, children and other dogs.

First you would just need to apply to be a volunteer for The Cinnamon Trust which is a charity which helps elderly people with pets. It's easy to apply, it's just some paperwork and once you're registered as a volunteer, you will be contacted by the charity to see if you can help locally - you can say no if you can't help at the time.

Here is a volunteer registration form

The more people who apply to be volunteers, the better - then if an elderly person needs help with a pet near you, there's a pool of potential people ready to help.

If you don't have time to volunteer, please consider becoming a member of the charity for £10 a year.

I work at Alexandra Palace and would love to walk a dog at lunchtime. I know some of my colleagues would also be interested in volunteering. I've printed out the registration form.

That's great to hear, Kirsten! The Cinnamon Trust will be really pleased to receive forms from you and your colleagues.

The more people who apply to be volunteers, the better - as that means there is a pool of potential people for the Cinnamon Trust to ask for help when an elderly person needs help for their pet.
