Hello
Our builders are coming back to do some pretty major work next week to our living room/dining room. We have original cornicing and one ceiling rose but the other one has been destroyed and some of the cornicing crumbled off when the roof had a leak.
We are looking for someone to come and match the cornicing and find us a similar rose to refit. We've called CAST/Hornsey Mouldings five or six times over the past few weeks and they never get back to us so we're running out of time.
Any recommendations? Anyone reliable and good? We want to keep the cornicing as accurate to its original look as possible.
Thank you so much!!!

Is Hornsey Mouldings the one over the bridge at Hornsey station? We used them when the front of our house was destroyed by a flood from the loft conversion, and they did a fantastic job of replicating the ceiling rose, cornicing etc. Our builders liaised with them, but seeing as they're only just over the bridge by Hornsey, why not just pop in?
Thanks Bushy.
I have tried to pop into see them but leaving for work at 7:30am and returning anytime between 6:30 and 9pm means that they are never open when I'm nearby. Sadly I currently have the kind of job where I don't really have a lunchbreak, so I can't pop back then either.
I've tried for three weekends to pop in but I've missed them, although they do answer the phone. When I did get through, they told me to ring Peter but he hasn't answered any messages. I'll try again on Saturday. I am really, really keen to use them as they are so local and look so professional but maybe the builders will have more luck with them than me.
Any other suggestions would also be very very welcome.
