Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hello Harringay Online!

I'm a local artist, living and working on the lovely Harringay Ladder for 10 years now.  While I've read the forums it has taken me this long to sign up, so I thought I'd better finally say hello.

My passion is photography and super colourful screen printing and linocut. I attended my first print course about 7 years ago and was really excited by how individual and tactile the creative and production process is.

Since then I have created a Heath Robinson style home studio, where I create designs from my original photographs and then hand pull screen prints. It has been a great journey of development and discovery, and something new with each artwork.

Recently, I was lucky enough to be offered some free space to exhibit my work at the Brouhaha bar. We're very fortunate to have a number of local venues which provide space for the arts, and it has been really great to work with the Brouhaha and to see that it is something that they will continue to offer to other artists going forward.

My work is on show at Brouhaha until the end of July, so if you find yourself wondering what Brutalist architecture might look like in technicolour please pop in.

Cheers,

Giles
